Everything Is Better With Corpse Paint! Bargin Bin Blasphemy Makes Bad Records Evil

Bargin Bin Blasphemy proves that just like Immortal, everything is better with corpse paint.

My new favorite Tumblr, Bargin Bin Blasphemy, has come up with the genius idea of taking old records, tricking the covers black metal style. Because just like Immortal, everything is better with corpse paint. And since it’s the holidays, I thought I’d share some of Bargin Bin’s “Christmas” themed creations.

In other very metal news, the black mass witches behind Bargin Bin Blasphemy say that they will be making their one-of-a-kind creations available for purchase soon. Bargin Bin is brand new to the world of Tumblr, and I for one can’t wait to see what else they come up with. So stay tuned, and have a grim and necro yule.

Bang A Gong! Every Episode Of The Marc Bolan Show Now Available On YouTube

Episode #6 of The Marc Bolan Show “Marc”. Featuring David Bowie and Generation X.

The Glitter Rockers at Dangerous Minds hipped me to the fact that every episode of  Marc Bolan’s TV show “Marc“, are now available on YouTube. The show ran for it ran for only six weeks in the Autumn of 1977, before Bolan died in a car accident in London, nine days after filming what would be the last episode of the series, episode #6 (above).

Guest on the short lived rock fest included The Jam, The Bay City Rollers, The Boomtown Rats, Hawkwind, Thin Lizzy, Roger Taylor of Queen, David Bowie, and Generation X. Even as I write this, it feels like a dream. Which is exactly how the show makes you feel when you watch it. And yes, there is such a thing as the “Marc Bolan Dancers“, who I’m sure all came dancing out of the womb. Never has there been, or ever will there be, a man or a show as cool as Marc. It’s true TV revolution.

Very Metal Monday: Bob Marley – Secret Headbanger

Bob Marley goes metal.

This video of Bob Marley seemingly turning his reggae anthem “Is This Love”, into a beautiful heavy metal moment, was done by the equally metal LA based musician and composer, Andy Rehfeldt. Mind blown!
