Nick Cave And Mark Lanegan Cover Unreleased Gun Club Track

Nick Cave, Debbie Harry, Mark Lanegan, and long-time collaborator, Isobel Campbell all decided to cover an unreleased Gun Club track, ‘The Breaking Hands’ for an upcoming tribute record for Gun Club vocalist Jeffrey Lee Pierce,  ‘The Journey Is Long‘. The mostly unfinished music was recently discovered on cassette in a loft owned by one of Pierce’s former collaborators, Cypress Grove.

Here’s a link to the dreamy Cave/Harry version of the track.
