Worst Gig Ever. A Blog About Rock ‘n’ Roll Gigs Gone Bad..

Black Flag, 1983. Henry didn’t trust the guy holding up the wall. Which was a good idea.

Worst Gig Ever is the brainchild of rock journo, Jon Niccum. The blog shares rock ‘n’ roll horror stories, as recalled by musicians like Alice Cooper,¬† Jane’s Addiction and Henry Rollins, during interviews with Niccum over the past 13 years.

There is also an equally horrifying reader submission page on Worst Gig, where bands you probably never heard of, tell their tales of drunk fans, not getting paid and not scoring drugs, and what really happens when you do a really shitty version of Ziggy Stardust. It ain’t pretty. But it’s still rock ‘n’ roll, and I like it.
