Kurt Cobain Memorial Finds It’s Home In Aberdeen…

Clallam Bay artists, Lora and Kim Malakoff, unveiled their concrete tribute to Kurt Cobain this week in Cobain’s hometown of Aberdeen. The statue, a replica of a guitar Cobain used during Nirvana’s last tour, was installed in Aberdeen near the Young Street Bridge. A place that has served as a makeshift memorial to Cobain since his death. Last Tuesday marked the 17th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. A fact that is as hard to write, as it is to comprehend.
