Swarm by Joshua Hoffine, 2008.

Last year, photographer Joshua Hoffine joined forces with jewelry designers Strychnine Sisters to create a line of lockets bearing the images of some of Hoffine’s photographs, including Swarm. Calling Swarm Hoffine’s take on Anne Geddes gone to hell is just too easy. This photo is one of my favorites by the Kansas born boogeyman, who picked up his first camera (an old Polaroid) after graduating from college.  I’m convinced Hoffine’s best works are still ahead of him.
