As Seen on TV, the virtually unbreakable Shake Weight. For AFJ.
Has your hand job game been lacking lately? Shake Weight has your back, er, hand…uh…oh hell! Just watch this NSFW(but I’m not completely sure why), infomercial for Shake Weight.
Clip from the cult Japanese rock ‘n’ roll Zombie movie, Wild Zero. 2000.
This movie has everything! Zombies, a love affair in spirit of Hedwig, microphones that spit fire, UFOs, chicks with machine guns, motor-oil head Japanese guitar God rock band, Guitar Wolf, their beyond cool leader ACE! and an ultimate zombie that shoots fricken laser beams out of his eyes. What more could you ask for? I loved this movie so much that I went out immediately after seeing it and bought my own copy. Because zombies are forever. Unless they get their head blown off. Then, not so much.
This weekend I also caught Hanzo the Razor: The Snare from 1972. The second in a series of three, first-rate Japanese Kung Fu splatter fests featuring veteran Japanese actor Shintarō Katsu as Hanzo. A pissed off Samurai with a constant hard-on, who lives in a booby-trapped (the pun, while not intended for once, stays) house. It was the perfect double-feature.

Elvis Costello performing the classic Hank Williams song, Cold, Cold Heart live on Spectacle on the Sundance channel.
I absolutely love Costello’s show on the Sundance channel, Spectacle. On this episode from 2008, Costello shared the stage with the great Tony Bennett.
This week, on July 29th and 30th, Sundancewill rerun Episode #6 from the first season of Spectacle featuring The Police.
Season Two of Spectacle kicked off in April. More on Spectacle here.
Cherrybombed.com is about the music and culture of the Pacific Northwest, as well as other cool happenings around the world. We also shine a spotlight on celebrities behaving badly. Here, you will find videos, low-brow artwork and images, and tattoos only a mother could hate.
If boozing was an olympic event, we would be on a box of Wheaties. If this all sounds familiar to you (and your mother), welcome home.
