This vid is from a new Nike commercial to promote skateboarder Paul Rodreiguez’s new Nike shoe, Zoom Air Paul Rodreiguez III. Dang that shoe has a snooty name. Anyway, the ad is actually pretty cool and Ice Cube’s mean-mug at the end made me laugh out loud.

Paul Cadmus was a Depression era painter who lived and worked in Manhattan. Cadmus’ style was dubbed “magic realism”, or the artistic process of combining realistic settings or subjects with illogical settings and surroundings. Cadmus’ Floozies created an uproar when it went on display, causing many to accuse Cadmus of being “unpatriotic”.
