After 14 of making music from somewhere deep inside a Seattle garage with bands like The Castros, The Earaches and his latest venture, Radio Rockets, vocalist and guitar slinger, August Henrich is taking a break from the limelight. Henrich says he plans to spend more time in his studio recording and composing music as well as mastering a backlog of vintage archived Earache material.

Tonight the Rockets will once again share the stage with The Electric Kisses (Henrich’s excellent wife Lori plays the drums for the punk trio) and the scruffy-fuzz of the Thankless Dogs. Get your earplugs and your ass out to this show. I wouldn’t miss it for anything.
