Happy Birthday to you K! It’s hard to believe that we’ve known each other since 1987. And despite being on opposite coasts, we still find a way to talk about stuff like, bacon art, Iggy Pop and our mutual love of cold cereal. Although it’s a shame that we can’t fight about Hanoi Rocks anymore as I’ve come to appreciate them, this realization has helped me learn three things. Your ears always were classier than mine, it’s not a cooincedence that you share a birthday with Joey Ramone and, despite the fact that I had hair like Michael Monroe in the late 80’s, you were still my friend. I’ll always love you for that.
