Owner Craig Grant is welcomed by the residents of Caboodle Ranch…
I fought the urge to call the title of this post “Pussy Ranch” as it seemed to diminish the incredible efforts of the Florida man that created Caboodle Ranch. Founded in 2003 by Craig Grant, Caboodle Ranch is a 30 acre, non-profit cat rescue that is called home to around 200 cats. Grant spends as much as $3500 a month, caring and feeding the cats. All the cats that live at Caboodle have been spayed or neutered.
Blur’sCrazy Beats can be found on the bands final studio record, 2003’sThink Tank. Blur will play two shows, their first live gigs in almost 10 years, in London’s Hyde Park on July 2nd and July 3rd, 2009.

This ultrasound photo may soon be considered child porn in North Dakota…
The North Dakota House of Representatives passed a bill that would classify photos of a fertilized egg as child pornography. In other words, if you live in ND and you upload your ultrasound photo to your blog, you could be convicted on child porn charges and forced to register as a sex offender. House Bill 1527, which is on it’s way to the North Dakota Senate, would also allow for a woman to be charged with criminal negligence after suffering a miscarriage. North Dakota Representative and (surprise!) card carrying Catholic, Dan J. Ruby, is the bill’s sponsor.
The author of the bill, the equally fucktarted Representative Dan Sullivan (R) of Tulsa said the intent of the bill is to stop couples from using the gender of a fetus as a reason to get an abortion. Sullivan said a doctor would be prohibited from performing an abortion if the mother specifically said the fetus’ sex was the reason.
In other news, I’m glad I don’t live in North Dakota.

New Brow: The Rise of Underground Art, will premiere at the SXSW festival on March 19th. The movie will shed some much needed light on the Low Brow art movement, exploring the genres of Graffiti and Tattoo art, and other Low Brow art forms. The flick will also feature perspective from talented Low Brow artists (often featured on this blog) like Shawn Barber, Ron English(above) and Van Arno.
Alan Landers, a spokesperson for Winston Cigarettes for over a decade passed away due to complications form throat cancer. Landers said he lost his mother, father, brother, grandmother, aunt and uncle to cancer. Landers was also involved in a lawsuit against four major cigarette makers was scheduled to go to trial next month.
Landers was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1987, and had two cancerous lobes removed from his right lung. Six years later in 1993, doctors found cancer in his left lung. Shortly after that, Landers was diagnosed with emphysema which then led to a double-bypass to repair his blocked arteries. Landers has been quoted as saying that at one time, he smoked as many as four cartons of Winstons a day.
Fuck is okay, except this week in South Pasadena, California…
South Pasadena, California’s“No Cussing Week”begins today. A “no cussing club” created in 2007 by a 14-year old Pasadena High School was instrumental in South Pasadena’s decision to go fuck-free for one week. The kid even has a website complete with a online store where you can buy his book, DVD, and“no cussing” t-shirts. And, although I’m not sure what it has to do with cussing, the site also sells the slightly disturbing The Power of Positive Huggingemoto-card. The card works like a mood ring, only the card tells you how many hugs you need. And that’s all I’m going to say about that…
