GTFO: The First Ever Bushless Edition… 0

“That one” replaces Wendy O for GTFO this week.
Sorry, I know this has been all over the Internets already but, I can’t get enough. It just screams, fuck yeah. Anyway, on to the point of this post. Which is what you should do this weekend now that we live in a Bushless society. There are so many shows going on your biggest problem is truly which ones to hit. Although, you can’t miss Ms. Led tonight, it’s the band last show ever so Friday is easy. Saturday is going to be a tough call for all of you with classy ears. Unless you’re in London because then it’s all about T Rextasy. Okay, enough jibba-jabba, let’s go…!

Looking Ahead:

Elvis Perkins.
The Bloodies will be in Portland, OR at Plan B on January 30th. On January 31st, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings will be back in Seattle at the Showbox at the Market. I keep catching Jones’ performance on Austin City Limits and am unable to tear myself away every time that woman opens her mouth. On February 15, The Gutter Twins, otherwise known as Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli will be at the Showbox at the Market along with Happy Chichester (!) and the awesomeness that is Shawn Smith. Finally, Elivs Perkins will be at The Tractor on March 9th. I’m really digging Perkins new self-titled record, Elvis Perkins in Dearland. Perkins’ melodies and vocals are almost as dreamy as the man himself. Despite the fact that Perkins is the son of actor Anthony Perkins, the star of Psycho.True story.
