Sarah Palin mocks fruit fly research.
I love the flippy “I kid you not” comment at the end of this vid. I mean, what else would you expect from Sarah Palin’s first policy speech? Anyway, for someone who has been promoted as a “tireless supporter of Autism research”, Sarah Palin is remarkably ignorant of the many contributions fruit fly research has made to one of her pet causes. To say nothing of this study involving fruit flies that may help pinpoint genetic risk factors for Autism.
I guess when Palin couldn’t name a newspaper or news publication she reads, she wasn’t kidding.
