My Name is Bruce, movie trailer. Opens on October 26, 2008. For Jane.

Quite possibly the finest actor of our time, Bruce Campbell, will premier his new flick, My Name is Bruce (not to be confused with the 80’s classic, They Call Me Bruce) in Austin, Texas on October 26th. The Austin premier kicks off a 22 city movie screening tour of My Name is Bruce. Campbell himself will introduce the movie at each stop and hold Q&A sessions after each viewing. Bruce comes to Seattle’s Varsity theater on December 12th. Other stops for Bruce include Boston, Portland, LA and a three day long run in New York starting on Halloween, otherwise known as October 31st.

I wish I could say that I had no idea why the song, as well as the images from Evolution’s video have been running through my head for nearly three days now because of course I know why. Not so strangely perhaps, Todd McFarlane’s brilliant decade old video draws many parallels to some of today’s current events. Even the character of “Death” in the video winks like, well…like her.
