Jessie B. Has The Blues. Lucky Us…

Jessie B., Albert King, wood, cloth, plaster, metal and a real Flying V guitar.

Jessie B. (who’s full name is Jessie Buddell) says that her art is inspired by her deep love of music, especially Classic Rock and the Blues. Maybe that’s why she used a real guitar to create her portrait of Albert King (above). Buddell also has a thing for the Lizzard King, meaning she likes to paint him. A lot.

Jessie B. Slim Harpo, in 3-D.

Jessie’s Slim Harpo (above) can be yours for $700. In a few more years, I think it’s going to be hard to acquire an original piece by Jessie for $700.

Jessie B., Johnny Cash, cabinet door, acrylic paint, leather and real guitar strap.

Jessie B. approach at Folk Art is refreshing, yet very traditional. Especially when it comes to Jessie’s Johnny Cash piece above. You can see Jessie’s work up close at the Primitive Kool Gallery in San Diego.

Jessie B., Jimi Hendrix, 3-D with real Fender guitar and embellishments.

Jessie B. lives and works in San Diego and is now accepting commissions. Find out more about that here.
