And I owe it to you to say, despite your plans this weekend (which I was SO right on about)… You have to make it to Jules Maes tonight…I mean, YOU will have fun this weekend. It’s a bonafied fact – starting it up on Friday just feels right.

Anyways…Cherrybombed has never been a big fan of pop-quizzes (or institutionalized education for that matter) and the question in the title of this post is rhetorical at best. As I gleefully kill the last Gin & Tonic of the season (hahaha…right…the last G&T…I mean…is that possible…? Is it the end of the WORLD or something? I mean…even at the end, someone you know HAS GOT to have a bottle of Gin right…? No more Gin & Tonic…? As if WE are at all possible without Gin…hahaha…awww FUCK that’s funny…ahhhh…Gin…sweet, stinky Juliep of life). Well all that and Cherrybombed needs you to know this:

The theme this year at Burning Man is “Green“. Which is good ’cause we all need a little more green in our lives. Obvious references aside, Burning Man leaves one mammoth carbon footprint once it’s all said and done…so there’s that bloated factoid and the fact that “the” man is set to burn (the same “the” man who was prematurely burned two days ago by this dude) for real this weekend…

So I gotta give this final round to Burning Man because burning stuff while ‘outa your tits in the middle of the desert RULES…although it was really close. Bumbershoot’s Monday lineup is completely worthy of that Tuesday-after-Labor-Day hangover. If you show up for work at all…which, if I had a “job” (whatever that is) I would so not be going to whatever that job was on Tuesday. The downside of all this is that you have a job. So Cherrybombed suggests you start cooking up some sort of excuse soup now…but please leave anything that involves your Gramp’s out of it…that’s just bad Karma…

AND of all the days, Cherrybombed thinks Monday has the best Northwest music lineup of the weekend long festival. What that means is the likes of The Blakes, Viva Voce, The Whore Moans (!) and Das Llamas will rock you like KLF…watch out…
